De Lijn
Various routes depart from Ypres to neighbouring towns and villages:www.delijn.be   The dial-a-busThe dial-a-bus is an initiative of the Flemish Transport Company De Lijn. Dial 078-15 11 15. State your destination and the time at which you want to arrive. De Lijn will inform you when you must be ready at your nearest bust stop. Be at the stop at the agreed time and the dial-a-bus will pick you up and take you to the agreed destination.

Benefits
Bus service for people who do not live within walking distance of the existing bus route.Travel criss-cross throughout the whole dial-a-bus area in which your commune is located.You can transfer to the existing regional routes and to neighbouring dial-a-bus services.It is not expensive and very convenient: the dial-a-bus service costs no more than the standard bus fare.
All the tickets of De Lijn are valid for the dial-a-bus service. Or you can also buy a route card for various trips (as from 7.50 Euro) or a ticket for one trip.
You can also use the dial-a-bus service with your Buzzy Pass (season ticket for young people under 25), Omnipas (season ticket for people aged 25+ to 59 or season ticket for people aged between 60 and 64), a day pass (ticket for one day, valid on the whole network of De Lijn) and the 65+ card.
During the summer months bus route 772-773 ensures a direct connection between De Panne-Veurne and Ypres. A number of trips take you to Bellewaerde Park. There is also a connection with the trains in Ypres and Veurne.

Reserve your dial-a-bus service on time: two hours in advance is recommended, if possible give us one day notice.The dial-a-bus office is open from Monday through Friday between 7 am and 7.45 pm, Saturday between 9 am and 6.45 pm and on Sunday between 10 am and 6.45 pm.  If the appointment needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances please call the dial-a-bus office as soon as possible.
